Victory Basketball Club is committed to upholding the Australian Government guidelines for Child Safety.
The guidelines include creating a culturally safe environment, embedding child safety in leadership, empowering children in decision-making, involving families and communities, upholding equity, ensuring suitable staff, focusing on child-centered complaints processes, providing ongoing education for staff and volunteers, maintaining safe physical and online environments, and regularly reviewing and improving the implementation of Child Safe Standards.
By adhering to these regulations, Victory Basketball Club aims to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people involved in our programs, while also promoting a culture of respect, empowerment, and continuous improvement in child safety practices.
